I'm A Celebrity fans think they've rumbled underfloor heating in the castle as Vernon Kay was spotted wandering around barefoot.
The Bolton TV presenter was seen without socks as he went to greet AJ Pritchard and Jessica Plummer when they returned from their trial during Monday night's show.
Viewers took to social media to comment on the former Family Fortunes star's feet - and they think it must mean that the castle is heated up for the celeb contestants.
The 20th series of the ITV reality show is being filmed at at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, north Wales.
"Underfloor heating in the castle?" asked one on Twitter.
"There’s no way Vernon can have no socks or shoes on if it’s an actual stone floor surely?"
"Vernon Kay was walking round barefoot last night. It would have to have some kind of heat or else they would end up with hypothermia," tweeted another.
"There is no way they would walk bare foot and sleep on the floor if they were on the original stone floors," said another.
"Vernon was walking around bare footed last night, can’t do that at home sometimes but in an old stone castle," questioned another.
"Well Vernon is walking around with no shoes on. He would be freezing," wondered another viewer.
"How warm is in there?!? Vernon was actually barefoot. Even i'm wearing socks and i'm in bed!!!!" shrieked another fan of the ITV reality show.
Fans had been wondering how the 12 stars would cope with living in the cold in Wales instead of I'm A Celebrity's usual setting of the Australian jungle at this time of year.
"It's Wales in November, surely that floor would be freezing," said another fan.
"Of course theres heating, in the main area Ant and Dec don't stand there shivering and the campmates don't either they hardly ever have coats on," commented another.
But another explained that they wouldn't need heating.
"They have effectively turned the castle into a TV studio, around and above them would be a large number of high powered studio lights, that would warm them up without the need for any additional heating," they wrote.
"It does not have heating! apart from real fires," said another.
In Sunday night's show, former Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ appeared to fuel suspicions that castle 'has central heating' when he said he had a bit of a hot flush after the male celeb's tucked into a roast lamb banquet.
He was quizzed by campmate Gionvanna Fletcher who noticed he was sleeping semi-nude.
AJ said he had become too hot during the night and ended up stripping off.
ITV has declined to comment.
