I’m A Celebrity viewers refuse to watch ‘SAVAGE’ X Factor live trial

I’m A Celebrity viewers refused to watch after the contestants were forced to endure a “savage” X Factor-inspired live trial.

Nick Knowles, Noel Edmonds, Harry Redknapp, Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Emily Atack, Sair Khan, Anne Hegerty and Fleur East took part in Jungle X Factor in a bid to bag time for John Barrowman, James McVey and Rita Simons to complete a quest across the Australian outback.

The VIP campers were tasked with downing blended pig penis, eating live bugs and being placed in a container with green ants while wearing a mouth guard.

Viewers “refused” to watch the “savage” challenges, with many left gagging.

Atack and Thompson-Dwyer were up first and positioned into giant X’s filled with biting green ants. They had their mouths prized open and were tasked with singing songs for their campmates to guess.

Atack was left screaming as she attempted to belt out the tracks from previous X Factor contestants while being bitten all over. They completed the Sting-off before the others took part in Sick Chair Challenge. They had to bite the heads off of witchetty grubs, which saw Hegerty gag as she attempted to swallow the live critter.

Judges Critter-cism was up next and saw Edmonds down a pint of vomit fruit, Hegerty fish eyes, Atack turkey genitals and Redknapp blended pig penis all within 30 seconds each.

The final challenge – Dreadlock – required East and Knowles to unlock padlocks in boxes filled with snakes.

The group successfully completed the gruesome challenges, bagging 85 minutes for their campmates to complete their quest.

I’m A Celebrity is on ITV, Monday at 9pm
