I’m A Celebrity to return to Australian jungle, confirm Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have confirmed I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will return to Australia for its 2022 series.

Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, the pair revealed the reality show will return to the jungle after two years at Gwrych Castle in North Wales during pandemic travel restrictions.

When asked about returning to Australia, Donnelly said: “If they’ll let us in the country, we’ll be back in.”

He added: “We had two lovely years in Wales, we really enjoyed our time in Wales, but this show has to be in Australia, we have to go back.”

The duo have presented I’m A Celebrity since its launch in 2002 every year together, with the exception of 2018 when Holly Willoughby stepped up to cover McPartlin.

ITV have yet to confirm the start date of the new series but it has been reported it will begin on October 20.

McPartlin and Donnelly also hinted at a new all-stars I’m A Celebrity spin-off show which could feature favourite campmates from previous series.

It is believed the all-stars version will be filmed in South Africa and likely to air in 2023 after the new series of the regular show.

ITV has not confirmed any names just yet.

A few fan-favourites are rumoured to appear on the show including Gillian McKeith, former butler to Princess Diana Paul Burrell, Helen Flanagan, Stacey Solomon, Joe Swash and Caitlyn Jenner.
