I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have made the stars of the show vote out a campmate for the first time ever.
ITV viewers will see the camp in a great mood after dinner on the show tonight, only to be rocked by the cruel change in the rules, which was branded “horrendous” by the celebs.
Going into camp, host Declan Donnelly says: “For one of you this will be your last night in camp. But this time, who that is, is up to you.”
Ant McPartlin adds: “You’ll each be taking part in a secret ballot and you’ll be voting to decide the next celebrity to leave camp.”
Afterwards, speaking to the camera, Dec says: “They did not like that. They were all about to go to bed and now they have to think about who to vote for.”
The reaction in camp was one of shock and anger. Former royal butler Paul Burrell, 64, says: “That smiling assassin duo has delivered an incendiary device into the heart of our camp”
Reality TV star Georgia Toffolo, 28, adds: “That’s horrendous. I don’t like this.”
And speaking in the bush telegraph, musician Myleene Klass says: “Imagine the best day you’ve ever had and then a giant foot comes and stamps on all of you. That’s what it feels like. Nasty, nasty thing to do.”
The result of the vote will be seen on tomorrow night’s show.
Earlier in the day, model Janice Dickinson sang to the other celebs.
TV star Carol Vorderman and Georgia also spoke of their love of long boozy lunches. Carol said the late Countdown host Richard Whiteley was a big fan too.
She added: “Richard and I set records in restaurants. They’ve had people in for dinner and they’ve left and we are still there.”
Singer Shaun Ryder and TV personality Gillian McKeith were the first to leave the camp on Friday.
Bosses are expected to bring in more late entries this week, with actors Dean Gaffney and Joe Swash thought to be in South Africa.
