I'm A Celebrity... South Africa viewers all say same thing just minutes into new series

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! spin-off launched on Monday, April 24 and within minutes of it starting, ITV viewers were saying the same thing about it.

I'm A Celebrity...South Africa is an all-star version of the series and sees former contestants who were previously in the Australian jungle head to South Africa in an attempt to win and be crowned the first I'm A Celebrity Legend. Featuring stars like Carol Vorderman, Shaun Ryder, Janice Dickinson and Fatima Whitbread, you can read all you need to know about the show here.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! normally airs in November and many fans see the series as the start of the run-up to Christmas. Many commented on how 'weird' it was to be watching I'm A Celebrity in April and a pre-recorded version of the show, which is usually beamed live from Australia. A fifth said: "Odd watching #ImACeleb in April. Feel like I should be writing a Christmas list". The new series is not live, unlike the original, and was pre-recorded last year in Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The opening episode featured teams of three undertaking some stomach-churning challenges including one which saw Carol Vordrman, Jordan Banjo and Amir Khan dropping from a plank above a mountain. Read more about it here.
