I'm A Celebrity... South Africa teases camp unrest as Gillian McKeith makes surprise arrival

I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, was running very smoothly as it opened on Monday, April 24 with all campmates getting along. However, a look ahead to the next epsiode showed the surprise arrival of Gillian McKeith into camp and it seemed the peace won't be lasting for long.

Gillian will be joining a group of all-star campmates in I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, including Shaun Ryder who she famously clashed with in 2010 when they were on the same series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Shaun did not look impressed to see Gillian after Ant and Dec gleefully told the campmates to "enjoy their surprise".

In a teaser for the next episode on Tuesday, April 25, Gillian makes her surprise entry into camp by being carried in, in a box. Popping out the box Gillian said: "I couldn't let you do this without jungle Gill!" Shaun can be seen telling other campmates: "She should have stayed in the box." Also in the teaser, Shaun told former cricketer Phil Tuffnell that he "nearly killed" Gillian after the two did not get along in the previous series. Gillian is known for famously fainting before a trial and many fans believed she faked the faint to try and get out of it.

Speaking before entering I'm A Celebrity... South Africa Gillian denied that the faint was fake. She said: “I have a history of fainting since childhood. The day before we did the live Trial, I hadn’t had much to eat and I wasn’t feeling very well – which is the precursor to passing out. I have fainted several times and not just in the jungle. I even fainted at a wedding once when I was the bridesmaid. They were about to say: ‘do you take this man to be your husband?’ and I passed out."

I'm A Celebrity... South Africa continues on ITV1 at 9pm on Tuesday, April 25. You can read everything you need to know about the series here.
