I'm a Celebrity second double elimination sees Jessica Plummer and Russell Watson leave castle

Soap star Jessica Plummer and classical singer Russell Watson have become the latest stars booted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

It was the second double elimination as the show nears the end this Friday.

They were eliminated during Tuesday’s episode of the ITV show, following Coronation Street star Beverley Callard and BBC journalist Victoria Derbyshire, who were eliminated on Monday.

West End star Ruthie Henshall and Paralympic gold medallist Hollie Arnold had previously been voted off this year’s series.

The series finale of the popular ITV show is on Friday (December 4) and it looks like one celebrity is the frontrunner to win the competition, Chronicle Live reports.

Seven campmates remain after two weeks of castle critters, brutal Bushtucker Trials, and rice and beans.

Ever since his heroics in the first few trials, Radio 1 DJ Jordan North has been the favourite to take home the Gwrych Castle crown.

However, after originally being well behind Beverley Callard to even be the 'top female' this year, author and podcast star Giovanna Fletcher is now the top contender to win the whole thing.

After Monday's (November 30) shock double eviction, William Hill has Giovanna at 6/4 to win with Jordan North not far behind.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
