I'm a Celebrity's Vernon Kay gags as he tries to eat deer's testicle

In the latest I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here trial, Vernon Kay can be seen gagging as he tries to eat a deer's testicle.

The public voted for Vernon, Beverley and Jordan to take part in trial called Frights At The Round Table. In a short clip released by ITV Vernon lifts the lid on a plate to reveal what Ant describes as "Nuts Roast".

Vernon tells the cheeky duo to "stop laughing", and then when asked what it is he says: "It looks like some sort of testicle".

Ant explains that it is, in fact, deer's testicles, at which point Ant says: "Oh dear".

Ant says: "You have to eat one whole testicle, the whole thing, even the end bit. Choose your testicle. It is the line I was born to say."

Vernon complains: "It's not even warm."

He then does a countdown, before popping the testicle in his mouth and almost immediately starts gagging.

Jordan is watching giving the television presenter encouragement.

There is a lot less screaming compared to the trial on Monday night, when Radio I DJ Jordan had to face his one of his greatest fears in a pit of snakes.

It is the first eating trial of the new series that is set in Wales for the first time. Millions tuned in to watch the start of the show on Sunday night, with many amazing by how beautiful Wales looked.

The show is coming live from its new home Gwrych Castle in Abergele, Wales for the first time in 18 years after ITV re-located from the Australian jungle due to the coronavirus crisis.
