I'm A Celebrity viewers have claimed that Shane Richie knew about new arrivals Russell Watson and Ruthie Henshall even though their entrance was meant to come as big surprise to the contestants.
While both singers were hotly tipped to be on the show this year, their names were missing when Ant and Dec revealed the lineup in a TV special a few weeks ago and they were absent when the new series got going on Sunday.
However, the cat was finally let out the bag that they WOULD be going at the end of Tuesday's episode when the Geordie hosts told millions watching at home that Russell and Ruthie will enter as part of a 'secret' trial twist which will see the other celebs gather to see them take on the very ominous sounding Stage Fright challenge.
But eagle-eyed, or rather eagle-eared I'm A Celebrity viewers say that Shane gave away that he knew Russell and Ruthie were doing the trial after the existing campmates were told they'd all be gathering for the trial.
He was heard shouting: "R and R... stage fright... R and R." after Ant and Dec walked out of the castle.
Directly tweeting Ant and Dec, one wrote: "how did Shane Richie know about 'R & R' when you told them the trial - Russell and Ruthie? " and another tweeted the lads to say: "Stage Fright, R and R” said by Shane Richie as you left. Russell and Ruthie. they know."
After a delayed start on Tuesday night due to the new series of Phillip Schofield's How To Spend It Well at Christmas, I'm A Celebrity will be back in its usual 9pm slot on Wednesday.
