I’m a Celebrity's Shane Richie admits guilt over remark to campmate Mo Farah

Shane Richie admits he felt a little guilty over his remark to fellow campmate Mo Farah.

The former EastEnders star, 56, was asked by Olympic gold medalist Mo, 37, if he wanted to join him for a run in the morning.

As the celebs woke up and decided to get busy with various chores and exercises in the morning, Mo ran around the courtyard to keep fit.

Asking Shane if he wanted to join him, Shane was quick to shut his offer down.

“Nah, you’re alright,” Shane said.

But the actor soon admitted guilt over his quick comment to the Olympian.

Chatting about the exchange in the Telegraph later on, Shane laughed: “I feel really bad, I’m in here with Mo Farah, Olympic gold runner and he asked me for a run and I said ‘no, you’re alright mate’.”

Celebs have already gushed over just how much of an honour it is to have Mo in the camp with them.

As celebs spoke about their proudest achievements on Monday night's episode, Mo said winning the London 2012 Olympics was up there at his proudest moment yet, leaving his campmates awestruck.

Vernon said: "Having Mo in camp is a real focus for all our attention, he’s achieved so much, so when he talks, everyone listens."

Vernon asked Mo if he had a picture of his winning moments from the 2012 Olympics, and Mo said he had been given some turf from lane 1 which he had framed.

Bev gushed: "Mo has that special something, he has a beautiful aura around him."
