I'm A Celebrity's Ruthie Henshall stuns viewers with x-rated royal revelation about Prince Edward

Ruthie Henshall stunned I'm A Celebrity viewers on Friday night with an x-rated revelation about her royal romance with Prince Edward.

After the musical theatre star's appearance on this year's show was heavily rumoured, it was reported that bosses snapped up her in the hope that she'd spill the beans about her time in the Royal Family's inner circle and she delivered the goods in front of millions of viewers during a chat with her new co-stars.

Speaking on the latest episode of I'm A Celebrity, Ruthie admitted she "fell totally in love with Edward" before Shane Richie pushed for more details on their romance.

Revealing that he once sang for he Royals, Ruthie joked: "You performed in Buckingham Palace, you sang in the gardens, I s****ed in the bedrooms.”

Opening up about how she and Prince Edward ending up being an items, Ruthie, 53, revealed: "He was a production assistant at Andrew Lloyd Webber's.

"And he then called me himself (Andrew) and he wanted me to play the lead in A Star Is Born. And Edward was my point of contact. He was the one who'd call me up and say you're rehearsing at 2 o'clock or whatever.

"And he said to me would you like to come to mine and watch the film of A Star Is Born with me and you can have some dinner."

Her frank and rather racy tales of life as the other half of a Royal came to a shock to viewers as many didn't know she'd dated Edward.

One tweeted: "Loved #ImaCeleb tonight .. thought I was hearing things when ruthie said she s****ed prince Edward in the palace haha," and another reacted: "If Ruthie’s story of her and Prince Edward, isn’t in the next series of the crown, I don’t want series 5."

Ruthie wasn't done their either as she also spoke about meeting Princess Diana, saying: "I met her a couple of times and one of my favourite times was we were at Balmoral, there was Diana, The Queen, Margaret, the Queen Mother, Charles, Edward, myself."

Shane asked "Were you talking to Diana?" to which Ruthie replied: "Yeah, she was lovely. I don't remember an awful lot because Charles gave me my first martini.

"I'd never tried it before so I was fairly . . .I had two of them and I was like woah . . ."
