I'm A Celebrity's Naughty Boy and Arlene Phillips back track on quitting and don't confront co-stars

I’m A Celebrity contestants Naughty Boy and Arlene Phillips have made a massive u-turn on their intentions to quit the show and failed to confront their co-stars after threatening to do so.

During Tuesday’s show, both the music producer and former Strictly Come Dancing judge told their camp mates that they wanted to leave after growing tired of their time in the Clink, with Naughty Boy being the most vocal after he lost out in the latest trial.

The man who’s given us hits like La La La and Runnin’ said: “I do think my time here is done. I had a feeling earlier and I was thinking about mum and obviously I love you guys.

“I don’t think after knowing what the Main Camp probably knew what they were putting me through knowing I did the challenge earlier – I don’t know if I could ever join that camp.”

Naughty Boy didn’t feel swayed to stay by the news that the two camps would soon be merging, with Arlene also hinting she was ready to throw the towel in.

However, after suspicions were first raised that they’d changed their mind about leaving when they appeared in the main camp in their new uniforms at the end of Tuesday night’s show, viewers saw them back track on Wednesday with no hint of any confrontation as they entered the main castle.

In the Telegraph, Arlene said “I was very nervous walking into the main camp and what was inside was a group of people so welcoming I felt quite emotional.”

Having a change of heart of his own, Naughty Boy added: “Thank god for a new day, the last few days, yeah, they were difficult but god is good but to come here and become a proper family, lets go.”
