Myles Stephenson confessed he didn't shower on I'm A Celebrity or four days, with his jungle campmates appalled.
On the show, the Rak-Su singer had told Ian Wright and James Haskell it'd been "several days" since he'd braved the water for a bathe.
Now, following his exit from the ITV series, The X Factor champion has explained the reason behind his lack of hygiene.
He also admitted he instead used a female intimate hygiene product, Femfresh.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Friday, Myles told Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins it was just too cold to shower.
He said: "Listen guys, don't give me too much slack. I was using Femfresh on the days I wasn't showering.
"On my armpits and on the crown jewels I was using Femfresh."
Grilled over the lack of hygiene, Myles confessed he kept putting off the big clean as the water was freezing.
He said: "Do you know how cold it was? The shower is so cold it's ridiculous.
"[It was like] 'No, I'm just gonna leave the shower for tomorrow' and then four days went by, and I realised after I smelt my armpit, 'I better shower now'."
Myles was also asked about his attraction to campmate and GMB host Kate Garraway.
He confessed he thought she was "really hot", having told her in the jungle that he had a crush on her.
Myles said: "She's really funny... she's just really hot. Her personality is amazing and I just clicked with her."
He said he had words with Kate's husband Derek, who had previously joked he felt threatened by the competition.
Myles told the hosts: "I literally saw Derek about 15 minutes ago and we had a nice conversation, but he's got nothing to worry about he's much better looking than me."
