A campmate who grew close to Kate Garraway on I'm A Celebrity last year has revealed their heart is breaking for the Good Morning Britain host as her husband is still fighting for his life in hospital.
The past few months have been living hell for Good Morning Britain host Kate and her two children after other half Derek was struck down by coronavirus.
While, at first it was hoped that the former Labour aide's stay in hospital would be a short one, Derek's condition deteriorated rapidly and he was put into an induced coma.
Kate has since revealed that he is now "free" from coronavirus but he has yet to regain consciousness and vital organs have been left severely damaged.
Kate has been silent since making a poignant post about Derek on Instagram on Father's Day but her I'm A Celebrity pal, former X Factor winner and Rak-Su member Myles Stephenson has spoken about how he's been there for her and her family.
He told The Sun : "It breaks my heart, I have such a close relationship with them all - including Derek.
"Kate knows I am there for her at the drop of a dime - for her and the kids - anything she needs. She has taken me up on the offer a few times, but I don't really want to say what she's asked of.
"It's just about looking out for the kids and being a big brother to them. It's been very hard. All we can do is pray for Derek and pray for Kate and the kids as well."
