I'm A Celebrity's Mike Tindall gets emotional as Zara shares family update in letter from home

Mike Tindall was visibly moved as he received an update from his wife Zara on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2022. In the latest instalment, which aired on Sunday, November 20, the campmates won letters from home after balancing blocks on a wobbly beam.

After completing the task, Mike got his letter, which was read out by his co-star and Coronation Street actor Sue Cleaver. In the handwritten note, Zara provided an update on the couple's three children, Mia, eight, Lena, four and Lucas, aged one.

Mike's face lit up as he heard the words "Hi my love" being read out, before his wife, who is the daughter of Princess Anne, told him their girls were enjoying sports and their son was learning new words.

The letter read: "Hi my love, we are missing you so much and really needing some papa hugs, but glad you're sharing them with your campmates.

"The girls are enjoying sports and throwing themselves into everything at the moment and the little man is loving life, smashing it up, learning some new words. Z, M, L and L. x"

Speaking to cameras later, the ex England rugby player said: "It was amazing to hear from Zara and the kids, of course, it just makes you want to see them more. That's not the case quite yet but you never know when that might be."

Zara and Mike have been together for 18 years and tied the knot in 2011 in Edinburgh. The royal family member recently discussed the couple's "boozy" first date together, telling his campmates: "First actual date, just went out for lunch locally. And ended up being quite a boozy one.

"Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
