I'm a Celebrity's Matt Hancock 'broke rules' in sad goodbye, says GMB star

Another accusation of breaking the rules has come Matt Hancock's way on I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here! - but this time it came from a Good Morning Britain star, not the public.

Comedian and Gogglebox star Babatunde Aleshe became the fifth star to leave the Australian jungle on Wednesday night, as Matt Hancock survived another vote-off.

As Babatunde was told he was leaving, he began to say his goodbyes to all the celebrities one by one, including the former Health Secretary. Commenting on what happened, Good Morning Britain star Richard fumed over Mr Hancock's comment to the comedian and accused him of 'breaking the show's rules' with what he said - insisting he shouldn't be allowed to, reports the Mirror.

As the campmate made his exit, Babatunde said to Matt: "Man like Matt!" using his favourite catchphrase as he said his farewells to each one of the six remaining celebrities. He added: "You're so wonderful."

Matt then replied, saying: "Will you say that to Gina". Richard remarked on GMB: "Sending a message to the outside world?"

Susanna Reid asked: "Is that not allowed?" to which Richard responded: "Not allowed to send a message to this outside world. Subliminal messages are different."

Richard then joked: "I'd be sending a flare up by this point - it's been long enough!" Before he ended the segment, Richard had one more thing to say - and a dig at the former Health Secretary.

"There we have it, Matt Hancock breaking rules," he said to much laughter from in the studio. He was seemingly referring to Mr Hancock's affair with his now-girlfriend Gina Coladangelo.

The final, which will see one of three remaining celebrities crowned the winner, will kick off at 9pm on Sunday, November 27 .
