I'm A Celebrity's Louise Minchin rules out GMB job as Kate Garraway 'feels threatened'

Louise Minchin shot down speculation she is after a job on Good Morning Britain after her exit from I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

The former BBC Breakfast host was the latest star to get the boot from the castle on Thursday night, leaving just six celebs left in the race to win Sunday's final.

In her exit interview with Ant and Dec, Louise admitted she was sad to leave with just days to go before the finale, but was also looking forward to getting into a warm bed.

The interviews kept coming for Louise on Friday morning when she joined Kate Garraway and Adil Ray on GMB.

Like Kate and Adil, Louise is no stranger to an early start, having presented BBC Breakfast for close to 20 years.

Leaving the show in the autumn, Louise said she wouldn't miss her alarm waking her before dawn every day and when, asked by Kate if she had her sights set on a switch from BBC to ITV to host GMB, Louise quickly ruled it out.

Kate remarked: "ou know what people are going to say. You're on here; you were adored on BBC Breakfast, everyone loved you there.

"Are you thinking of making the move and should I get my coat? I mean, to be fair, I've had a good run.

Swift to respond, Louise told Kate: "No! Don't get your coat! I've done those hours.

"I've got up at 3.40 in the morning for 20 years...no, no! Keep your coats!"

Reacting to the rather awkward interview, one viewer tweeted: "No way should she replace a legend like Kate!" with another posting: " @louiseminchin would be mad to ever consider a position @GMB she is 100 times better presenter than any of you lot at GMB."
