I'm A Celebrity's Jordan North has done something incredible for charity - and he doesn't even know it

Jordan North has caught the attention of I'm A Celebrity viewers right from the off.

He became an instant target for fans of the ITV reality show when it came to BushTucker Trials but he has since proved everyone wrong when he bagged 12 stars and a big meal for the castle camp.

But it's not just in I'm A Celeb he is doing good work as he's done something incredible for charity - and he doesn't even know it.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ has been unknowingly helping his beloved football team Burnley FC raise money for Pendleside Hospice and Burnley FC's community food bank.

Jordan, 30, had viewers in stitches earlier this week by screaming 'happy place Turf Moor' - the home of Burnley FC - while facing one of his fears - snakes - in a BushTucker Trial.

His impromptu outburst has lead to the club selling 'happy place Turf Moor' t-shirts for £20.

Jordan is also an ambassador for the hospice who cared for his uncle who sadly passed away last year.

A representative Burnley FC, Sara Ward said there has been a huge demand for the T-shirts, adding they had "lifted many people's spirits".

Speaking to BBC Radio Lancashire, she said: "Well, it's put a lot of smiles on everyone's faces!

"We've all been cheered up by it and we're supporting Jordan so we've turned it around at the club, it's been a great team effort and it went on sale and the demand's been fantastic.

"Jordan North is an ambassador for Pendleside Hospice and obviously Burnley FC in the Community run the food bank.

"The pandemic has seen a massive increase in demand there so I hope it make him proud when he comes back because of course he doesn't know any of this is happening!"
