I’m A Celebrity’s Jessica Plummer shares ‘heartbreak’ over leaving daughter Noa

I'm A Celebrity 2020 star Jessica Plummer will be "heartbroken" to leave her little girl to enter the jungle, but has made a sweet gesture to Noa, four, in case she misses her.

The former EastEnders actress, whose character Chantelle Atkins was killed off in September, admitted this is the longest her and her little one will have been apart.

With the pair living alone, Jessica admitted it will be "strange" without her mini-me by her side.

But she hopes to do her proud, and has even left her a little message for each day they are apart.

Speaking to Mirror online and other press, the singer and actress shared the "daunting" thing about doing the ITV series.

Jessica Plummer can't wait for I’m A Celebrity (ITV)

She said: "It is strange. The closer we get to it now, the more excited I am to do the show.

"But the more daunting it is to think I am potentially not gonna see her for up to three weeks, which is heartbreaking.

"The longest we have not seen each other is four days."

Jessica went on: "She is my little girl. It is gonna be really weird but I hope I make her proud.

"I have recorded messages for her like, 'Good morning Noa'.

"I've recorded up to three weeks worth just in chase I am in it for the long haul, so she'll have a message from me every day.

"She's around family so she'll be fine, but it will be strange."

Jessica is excited for the new experience though, and can't wait to find out who she is sharing it with.

She told us: "I really enjoy meeting new people, I thrive off it and hearing their stories.

Jessica Plummer played Chantelle Atkins on EastEnders (BBC)

"I'm probably gonna be meeting so many interesting people from crazy different backgrounds, ages and stuff. I look forward to that.

"Saying that I do live alone with my daughter, and I'm used to having my own space but then again I'm also used to having hot, running water, three meals a day, so I have got to take it for what it is and somehow see the positives."

I'm A Celebrity 2020 launches at 9pm on Sunday November 15 on ITV.
