I'm A Celebrity's Janice Dickinson makes defiant comment after being forced to leave jungle camp

I'm A Celebrity South Africa fans have said they're "glad" Janice Dickinson has left the camp. The 68-year-old was forced to leave the show after it is believed she fell on a rock and injured herself during the night.

During the programme airing on the evening of May 8, hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly confirmed the news, adding that Janice had been checked over by medics to ensure she was ok.

The duo told fellow campmates: "Sadly Janice had to leave camp during the night as she had a fall and was unable to return," Dec said as Ant confirmed she was doing fine and had left a message for her fellow campmates to say her goodbyes after her exit, reports the Mirror.

A Bush Bulletin arrived for the South African camp, as Helen Flanagan read out the message from Janice. She read out her heartfelt message, which began: "My beloved campmates, never have I ever had such an extraordinary experience with you animals. You are the new BFFs, loves of my lives and I’ll miss you until I get to see you again.

"Kisses to all of you. I love you and miss you. Love Janice. PS Joe, I’m still p***ed at you and I’ll never get over it. All the love." The campmates led an all-round clap for Janice, as Joe admitted he had a regret that they had a fight the day before.

However, fans all had the same thing to say as it was confirmed Janice was leaving. "Glad Janice has gone #ImACeleb," one viewer penned, as a second took to Twitter to share their thoughts, adding: "Did they call Janice leaving camp sad news jfc I'm sat here celebrating #ImACeleb."

A third shared: "Thank god she's gone #imaceleb," with a fourth penning: "Sad that Janice had a fall and everything but I’m glad she’s gone she was annoying #ImACeleb #imacelebrity." Following her exit, Janice insisted she could have gone all the way - and would have had a chance of winning.

"I could have been the one to be second runner up or even win this series because I was just so steadfast and physiological with it. I was just waiting and biding my time with it all. I did my fair share in standing up, falling down," she said.

"Getting my face in the dirt. I felt like they could have possibly cleaned my wounds and set me back on my path in there. But Production made the right decision, in the end, to not send me back in."

She added: "I’m just sad it ended that way. I think I could have gone back in and gone on further."
