I'm A Celebrity's James Haskell suffers painful injury in camp amid Andrew row

I'm A Celebrity star James Haskell ended up scalding himself with hot water after an incident.

Andrew Maxwell completed the latest Bushtucker Trial to earn meals for camp, with him managing to retrieve 10 out of 12 stars.

On returning to camp, the comedian opted out of his daily chore with Caitlyn Jenner which required him to do the washing up.

Feeling a little tired from his day out of camp, Andrew told Caitlyn he wasn't up to it and decided to have a nap.

Caitlyn was cool with this, but some of his fellow campmates were not.

James, Camp Leader, chose to help Caitlyn, 70, with the pots and such not wanting her to do it alone.

But he paid the price for helping out wen he suffered an accident on his way to the stream.

As he attempted to carry the bucket of hot water, it slipped on his foot and poured out.

Unable to get his boot off in time, the hot liquid covered his foot and burned the top of it.

He shouted out in pain, before explaining his injury to Caitlyn with his foot blistering at the top.

James was heard shouting out, as he told his campmate: "The hot water just slipped out and poured right into my boot.

"I couldn’t get my boot off in time and it’s blistered the front of my foot."

After hearing about the injury, Ian Wright raged in the Bush Telegraph over Andrew not doing his task.

He said: "James is our leader, he’s too nice and he’s gone down there with two buckets of hot water and scalded his foot because he didn’t do his job and just lead.”

Ian later told campmates: "I’m having to hold myself in now it’s as well I’m not the leader because this wouldn’t be happening, he’d be down there doing it.

"We are grateful for the ten stars but at the same time you can’t get the stars and clock off or there would be anarchy.

"I don’t know how I’m going to let this lie. If this was in our football team you can’t see someone clock off because they’ve done a fantastic thing.”

I'm A Celebrity continues nightly at 9pm on ITV.
