I'm A Celebrity's Helen Flanagan said Ant and Dec made her life a misery

Ant and Dec revealed how a former I'm A Celebrity contestant told their child they'd made her life a misery.

The Geordie duo were back on screen on Sunday night to host TV special A Jungle Story, ahead of the new series starting next weekend and, as well as looking back at some memorable moments from the show, Ant and Dec revealed a surprise encounter they'd had with infamous contestant Helen Flanagan.

The Coronation Street actress became a target for viewers in 2012 who ended up voting her for a host of different Bushtucker Trials.

To say she struggled with them would be an understatement and, as they watched some of her attempts back, Ant and Dec winced and looked less than impressed.

Reacting to the clip, Ant said: "That wasn't her fifth trial. She'd done three seconds of one trial..."

"And then passed on three of them. You haven't done five trials" Dec added.

"You've looked at five trials," Ant quipped.

And it was then that the lads revealed they'd unexpectedly bumped into Helen in a London airport.

Ant recalled: "We saw Helen Flanagan at an airport in baggage reclaim. And she was with her daughter.

"And she was like look....whatever the daughter's name was...'There's the two men who made mammy's life a misery!"

Dec confirmed: "She genuinely said that to her baby daughter. It's not how I'd like to be known!"

This year's I'm A Celebrity lineup features an eclectic mix of stars including Mo Farah, Beverley Callard and Vernon Kay.

Two names missing from the lineup who were heavily tipped to appear on the show this year are Ruthie Henshall and Russell Watson.

Ruthie is best known for being a West End leading lady in hit musicals like Chicago and was also a judge on Dancing on Ice, while Russell is a multi-platinum selling opera singer who is celebrating 20 years in showbiz this year.
