I'm A Celebrity's Frankie Bridge 'robbed' of I'm A Celeb win after terrifying trial

Angry I'm A Celebrity viewers left gutted on Frankie Bridge's behalf after she only finished third, despite taking part in an absolutely terrifying final trial.

The former Saturdays singer was the early bookies favourite to triumph in Gwrych Castle, before being eclipsed by late arrival and fellow finalist Simon Gregson and then David Ginola, before a huge upset saw the football icon eliminated in fourth place on Saturday night.

During the final episode of I'm A Celebrity, Frankie, Simon and Danny each took on a final trial, with Frankie the last to take part.

And, given she admitted she was scared of being in enclosed spaces, her challenge could not have been a worse one for the now Loose Women panellist.

As well as being out in a coffin and pushed into a tomb, Frankie was swiftly joined by snakes.

On the first count there were 20, but as the lights went off and Frankie was plunged into total darkness, she was completely covered by 50 snakes, most of them gathering around her head.

People watching at home were full of admiration for Frankie for what she went through so were then upset when Ant and Dec revealed she'd only finished third, before announcing Danny as winner later in the show.

One took to Twitter to fume: "WTF?!!!!! @FrankieBridge was robbed!" with a second angrily reacting: "She finished third? What a joke! She should’ve won, well done @FrankieBridge. Honestly don’t care who they claim to be the ‘winner’ of this s**t show.

A third tweeted: "I wasn’t expecting Frankie third!!! I thought she could win!!"
