I'm A Celebrity's Cyclone will return as Ant and Dec reveal news to ecstatic fans

Ant and Dec have delighted I'm A Celebrity fans with news of a big return for something that has become a massive tradition for the show.

There are now just a few days to go until the I'm A Celeb final, with winners odds changing all the time. And with two more contestants leaving the castle on Wednesday night, it'll soon be getting rather empty in there.

But the good news for those who survive another double eviction is that they will get to take part in an iconic show challenge - the Celebrity Cyclone.

Yes, the cyclone has made the trip from Australia to Wales, after fears it may be scrapped due to the drastic change in climate.

The Cyclone has given us countless memorable moments over the years as celebs have to grab their foam stars and attempt to cling onto them as all manner of obstacles are thrown in their direction, not to mention monsoon levels of water!

After a lot of speculation, it was hosts Ant and Dec who confirmed its return after being quizzed on it by an impatient viewer.

The fan tweeted: "What’s happening to celebrity cyclone this year @antanddec?" and they replied: "Coming soon"

Their response for music to the ears of I'm A Celeb die hards who were concerned it wouldn't be happening.

One reacted: "I was actually thinking about this at 5am this morning when I couldn't sleep. Obviously one of the "mega important" issues keeping me awake at night."

Another delighted fan tweeted: "GENUINELY has been my only point of tension at it being in Wales rather than Australia this year. About a week ago I turned to my husband and said ‘Oh no! What about celebrity cyclone?!?!’ and a third joked: "At least you’ll save money on the wind machine and water in Wales, it just comes naturally"

Ant and Dec then rubber stamped the Celebrity Cyclone's comeback by teasing it will be 'bigger and better' for 2020 at the end of Wednesday night's episode.
