I'm A Celebrity's Arlene Phillips and Naughty Boy change their minds about leaving

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants Arlene Phillips and Naughty Boy have decided to stay at Gwrych Castle following tense scenes.

The music producer and former Strictly Come Dancing judge, who spent their first days in the Castle Clink, threatened to quit the show on Tuesday night's episode and said they would not be joining the Main Camp when the time came to merge the two teams.

Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley begged the pair to sleep on it and change their minds, and it looks like they've taken his advice.

Speaking in the Telegraph on Wednesday's show, Arlene, 78, said: "My mood changed in the night. The boys have been fantastic, I couldn't have wished for anything better."

Richard then read out a scroll that told the Clink campmates their time there had come to an end and now it was time to join the Main Camp.

Naughty Boy said: "I'm going to the main camp to see how I feel when I get there."

Speaking in the Telegraph, he added: "I'm feeling buoyant, I'm feeling good, I'm so blessed to have these guys."

"All we can do is try and I'm willing to give it a go," he later told Arlene as the pair hugged.

The Clink campmates then entered the Main Camp to all the celebrities jumping up and down with joy.

In the Telegraph, Arlene said: "I was very nervous walking and entering Main Camp and what was inside was a group of people so welcoming I felt quite emotional."

Naughty Boy said: "Oh wow I love this. Thank god for a new day, the last few days, yeah, they were difficult but god is good but to come here and become a proper family, lets go."

It will be a relief for I'm A Celebrity fans who feared the DJ had quit the show last night. You can read more on this here.

The 36-year-old told his fellow campmates he was done after being picked by the other camp to take part in a trial, his second challenge of the day.

He told his fellow contestants in Clink Camp: "I don't think I will be going to Main Camp, I can't continue and my heart's not in anymore, I'm led by my heart."

Following the shock announcement Naughty Boy's family spoke out.

The star's family, who are running his social media accounts while he is in the Welsh castle, said: "If only everyone knew what he's battling on the outside world.

"His mum (my nan) is battling dementia and he has been taking care of her for the last 5 years. This is the first time he has left her to do something life-changing! He is just overwhelmed and he will be fine." You can read more about this here.

Following last night's fallout Ant and Dec appeared live from the castle and revealed the pair were currently still there but questioned whether there would still be 10 mouths to feed after they planned to confront Main Camp.
