I'm A Celebrity's Ant McPartlin denies acting after painful prank live on air

I'm A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin has denied play acting after being hit on the crotch during a painful prank on I'm A Celebrity.

After watching the male celebrities play Nut Ball - an improvised game that involved them throwing a ball at each other's private parts - the camera cut back to Ant & Dec to do their next live link, hours after they slammed fix claims from viewers.

Dec informed Ant and millions of viewers at home that the ball was made out of plasters, old bags and dental floss from camp to which Ant remarked "is that it?! Well that wouldn't hurt would it?!"

Well unfortunately for Ant, the proof was in the pudding, or rather the pain, as he was left grimacing and ended up asking for Medic Bob after Dec threw the makeshift ball at his crotch! Ouch!

I'm A Celebrity viewers at home weren't so convinced Ant was actually in pain but the man himself took to Twitter to react "Believe me, that bloody hurt!!!"

Ant & Dec's many followers are still seeing the funny side, with one responding: "It looked like Dec was waiting for that moment for a long time. How hard did he want to throw that?" Another commented: "Haha it looked like it hurt. Dec blooming loved that, the smile on his face, I never knew he could be so evil," and one lady quipped: "My husband felt that!"

Others apologised to Ant for laughing at his painful misfortune, while another said it was just another example of how good the lads have been this year, tweeting: "Best they have been in years! So funny!"
