I'm a Celebrity's hosts Ant and Dec hit back at viewers' criticism of the show.
Fans of the ITV reality series were left fuming on Saturday night when they settled down to watch the latest instalment from camp at Gwrych Castle.
But instead of seeing the fallout from Friday's live BushTucker Trial where the male celebs were pitted against the women in order to win a banquet, viewers were left bitterly dissapointed.
Instead of new scenes from the I'm A Celeb camp mates, they realised they were watching re-runs of the action over the past six days.
ITV has explained that Saturdays are the best of the week episodes, with unseen footage and new links, but viewers weren't happy.
"What is this rubbish? I've literally planned my sat night round a 9pm show that isn't happening," one said.
Another said: "Just when we all need entertaining. Bad bad decision. One viewer lost here."
"Apparently every Saturday show is going to be a recap episode for the week no thank you. I want a proper show every night," a third complained.
Therefore, when the show returned on Sunday night, the hosts responded.

Dec began: "We've got a bumper 75 minute show for you, completely live and without a highlights package in sight."
Ant added: "Thanks for all your messages about last night's pre-recorded highlights show," before Dec interrupted: "It wasn't just highlights though, there was loads of unseen footage!"
Ant then commented: "We really appreciate the feedback, although, I should point out, medically I can't do that to myself."
Prior to the start of the episode, the presenting duo also poked fun at the angry comments in one of their Instagram Stories.
"Right, we're off to rehearsals to rehearse the LIVE show. The LIVE show this evening," said Ant.
Dec then added: "We're LIVE tonight with all new footage. Not a recap in sight. It's live!"
