I'm A Celebrity's Ant and Dec forced to deliver 'evil' blow to All Stars cast

Ant and Dec found themselves at the centre of a very brutal twist on the new series of I'm A Celebrity, when they were made to tell the All Stars cast that they'd have to vote each other off the show.

Unlike every other series of I'm A Celebrity to date, All Stars, which kicked off on ITV last week, was recorded well in advance, being filmed in South Africa back in the autumn. The fact that the new run has been in the can for months now means that the public have no input whatsoever in how it plays out.

The biggest repercussion of that is the absence of any viewer vote for trials and on who will ultimately win All Stars and become I'm A Celebrity's first ever Legend of the Savanna, There is a lot more than stars for meals at stake in the new series as the challenges are also being created to make the celebs battle it out to stay on the show.

Shaun Ryder and Gillian McKeith became the first victims of the Survival Trial cull on Friday night's show, with Ant and Dec upset by their exit and, on in an upcoming episode, millions of viewers will see the hosts forced to break the news that the campates will have to turn on each other to decide who goes home next.

In a move reminiscent of old ITV reality show Survivor, the cast will all vote in secret to give someone the boot, with Dec explaining: “For one of you this will be your last night in camp. But this time, who that is, is up to you," with Ant adding: “You’ll each be taking part in a secret ballot and you’ll be voting to decide the next celebrity to leave camp.”

After delivering the blow, Dec says to camera: "“They did not like that. They were all about to go to bed and now they have to think about who to vote for."
