I'm A Celebrity's Ant and Dec blast Matt Hancock as they fume over camp fail

I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were left fuming by Matt Hancock's fail on the ITV show last night.

As the pair waved goodbye to another campmate – Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver – they headed to Instagram for their daily round up on the last 24 hours in camp. After saying goodbye to Sue, they discussed some other things that happened in the episode – and were left particularly irate by a huge mistake Hancock made in camp.

Giving their verdict on how he had burned the rice because he wasn't watching the pot, the hosting duo were furious with Hancock for the cooking gaffe and admitted they'd be angry if they were in there with him, too.

During last night's episode, they showed Scarlette's final scenes – as she quizzed Mr Hancock on if he’d checked the rice.

As she lifted the pot, she remarked it was "totally burnt", before she turned to the Tory MP and said: "I thought you were keeping an eye on that, no worries," as she looked over the food and if it could be salvaged.

"Matt did a bit of an ‘oopsie’ with the cooking and forgot that the rice was being cooked," Seann shared in the Bush Telegraph, before the cameras switched back to the scenes from camp and Owen asked: "Is that inedible?"

Back in the Bush Telegraph, Seann then remarked: "I don’t remember there being so many problems with the cooking when Charlene was here. I think this restaurant’s gone downhill. Sorry Matt."

However, trying to be optimistic, Hancock insisted the situation was "rescued" – despite the campmates losing a whole bag of rice.

"We rescued the situation, we got half a pan of rice. Basically we lost one packet of rice. All is well," he said.

Now speaking about the incident and how cooking had taken a complete wayward turn without Charlene White and the last with Scarlette Douglas there, Ant said: "I mean it's all gone to pot now Charlene's gone – and Scarlette's gone."

"When you've got such little food in there," Dec added, frustrated by Hancock's error.

"That would make me very angry," Ant fumed, "And Matt sat in bed. That was Matt's job to keep an eye on the rice."
