I'm A Celebrity rich list – Boy George's 11 businesses to Chris Moyles' property empire

Some stars go onto I'm A Celebrity for fame and fortune – but at least five of this year's line up are millionaires.

Often in the past the ITV series has helped faded entertainers who have fallen on tough times. But the jungle reality series is now so iconic – and back in its home of Australia – it offers a great adventure and an experience money can't buy.

Here are the biggest earners with their estimated riches and business assets as they head into the show without any need to worry about dingo dollars.

Boy George, £25 million+

Boy George is still earning money from live shows but his biggest sign of riches is his Hampstead home – currently for sale at £17m.

He bought in in 1984 and ‘amalgamated’ the house next door after paying £2.95m for it in 2019. A lavish three-year revamp followed, with Kelly Hoppen CBE drafted in to help architects. The sales brochure lists Sam Smith as a former resident, suggesting George may have rented the property out at some point.

He netted £9.2 million at touring firm Mishpocha in 2020 – though he co-owns it with Culture Club colleagues Mikey Craig and Roy Hay watering down his share of its earnings by two thirds.

It’s one of eleven businesses run by George, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd.

New venture Nation of Mishpocha was set up in November 2021, with paperwork referencing an agreement between the firm and concert promoter Live Nation suggesting a new tour could be in the offing.

Other interests include retail venture B-Rude through which he sells clothes and hats,’ worldwide touring company Other Places Drama, Karma Touring, music publishing firm More Protein and popular entertainment firm Cometmarket – set up way back in 1987.

Between them these firms were £467,697 in the red as at latest accounts – financial records suggesting his firms had concerns over COVID.

Chris Moyles, £5m

Moyles’s net worth combines property business profits and property. He channels his earnings into a single private company – Verona Creative.

He purchased his garden flat in London's Hampstead in 1999. He is a director of the property management company that looks after his building. A recent sale there suggests Moyes flat should be worth in excess of £1m.

For many years as the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast DJ he was also earning a salary of up to £1million a year.

Mike Tindall, £3m

Mike Tindall’s net worth comprises business profits and the family property. Much has been made of the riches of Tindall and his wife Zara Phillips.

They also operate Bigjam Productions together. It was set up in 2020, and notched-up a first trading loss of £123,996. The Tindall’s Gloucestershire farmhouse was valued at £1m in 2015 when Zara became the registered owner.

Zara is also the registered owner of two barns and a stable at the same farm as her house, her ownership also dating back to 2015. A mortgage in favour of Coutts is registered on both titles.

Sue Cleaver £1.6m

Cleaver has benefited from the upturn in property values in Manchester, seeing the value of her home double since she bought it in 2005.
