I'm a Celebrity: Pictures show extent of damage caused by Storm Arwen

Pictures show the extent of the damage caused to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! set during Storm Arwen.

Bosses were forced to cancel the live shows for this weekend following chaos caused by the storm.

And on Saturday night (November 27) it was revealed that the celeb campmates had been removed from Gwrych Castle in north Wales.

This is the first time the show, which was based in Australia before Covid-19 restrictions, has been cancelled in 19 years.

The production marquees at Gwrych Castle in Abergele sustained 'significant damage' and the production base experienced severe technical issue, reports North Wales Live.

The M.E.N. understands that the I'm a Celebrity campmates will return to quarantine after being removed from the castle.

They will individually return to quarantine to ensure that they remain covid secure.

And they will return to the castle once it's safe to do so.

The celebrities, including Coronation Street star Simon Gregson and Emmerdale's Danny Miller, quarantined before entering Gwrych Castle and have formed a bubble for the ITV reality series.

They will now return to the same quarantine conditions before they arrived at the castle for the ITV reality show.

The live shows have been replaced in the ITV schedules by compilation shows.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who have hosted the popular ITV show since 2002, took to Twitter last night after they were unable to present from the castle.

Dec tweeted from their official account: "Absolutely gutted we’re not 'live' with you tonight but we’re watching the telly along with you! D x #ImACeleb."

Fans are now calling for them to return to Oz.

@LanktasticGamer tweeted to Ant and Dec: "Please don’t bring out a new series until you come return to Australia!"
