I'm A Celebrity pays tribute to former Welsh star of ITV show

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is back in Australia and that means one thing... The return of the Dingo Dollar Challenge. The popular segment has had an upgrade in 2022, though. Gone is Kiosk Kev's grotty shack and in its place, a 'Deals on Wheels' bike. The iconic character, played by Mark Herlaar, returned to the show on Monday night and had a nod to his "Welsh cousin" - Kiosk Cledwyn.

When the ITV show was in Wales, Cledwyn took over from Kev, with hosts Ant and Dec revealing that the pair were long lost cousins. In the Welsh Ye Olde Shoppe, Cledwyn even had a picture of Kiosk Kev lying on the beach. It seems that Kev has returned the favour in the new series.

This year, Kev's Dingo Dollar Challenge has had a total revamp and is now called the Deals on Wheels Challenge. Owen Warner and Jill Scott were the first ones to take on the brand new challenge – and their fun task was called Spaghetti Crossword.

The Mirror reports how the pair had to jump into a larger than life bowl of spaghetti as they used an oversized fork to fish out the letters that would help spell out the answers to their food inspired crossword clue. Between the two of them, they managed to crack the answers and soon they found out they had secured the Dingo Dollars to spend with Kiosk Kev.

Heading to Kiosk Kev’s Deals on Wheels bike, they were offered some custard creams – in exchange for their fellow celebrities answering a question correctly. Luckily, the secured the biscuits and headed back to camp with their sweet treat. I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Tuesday, November 8 at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
