Giovanna Fletcher’s odds have been slashed to just a 5/4 shot to be crowned Queen of the Castle on I’m a Celebrity, with Jordan North drifting to 2/1.
Vernon Kay is currently a 5/1 shot in the betting on this year’s series, while every other name is 8/1 or bigger as things stand.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "The race to be crowned King or Queen of the Castle is really hotting up and while Jordan has headed the betting for some time, Gi has overtaken him with just days to go."
Fletcher is one of the celebrity contestants taking part in this year’s show, which is set at a derelict Welsh castle instead of the usual Australian bush.
Other celebrities taking part are: former Strictly pro AJ Pritchard, EastEnders star Shane Richie, broadcaster and journalist Victoria Derbyshire, former EastEnders actor Jessica Plummer, TV presenter Vernon Kay, former Coronation Street star Beverley Callard, and singer Russell Watson.
