I'm A Celebrity host Dec hit by awkward technical blunder live on air

I'm A Celebrity host Dec Donnelly was hit by a technical blunder live on air on Saturday night.

With just a day left of the new series, there won't be too many more live links for Ant & Dec to do, which is just as much a shame for viewers as it is for them, as they have given us some comedy gold this year.

And just days after Dec left Ant writhing in pain after throwing a ball directly at his crotch, Dec got some karma live on air.

Saturday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity was the one everyone had been waiting for - Celebrity Cyclone. And as Ant & Dec tried to get everyone hyped up to watch the famous challenge, they were thrown too megaphones to shout through.

However, as you can see in the above video from the I'm A Celebrity Twitter account, a crucial part of Dec's megaphone - the battery pack - came off as he went to catch it and smashed to the floor before he'd even had chance to use it.

After struggling to keep in his chuckle, it was left to Ant to finish the live link and reacting to the awkward moment on Twitter, I'm A Celebrity posted "Well... that didn't happen in rehearsals."

Viewers at home were quick to react too, with one writing "IM CRYING AT DEC’S MEGAPHONE NOT WORKING," and another quipping "The batteries falling out of Dec’s megaphone is a representation of how my life is going right now."
