I'm A Celebrity first look as campmates scream and panic when huge storm hits South Africa

It is normally the gross trials that cause the celebrities to scream on ITV1's I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, however in a first look at scenes set to air on Thursday, May 4 they are facing a different problem. A huge storm has hit camp causing them to panic as they try to keep everything dry.

As camp scurry about trying to keep the rain out of their bags and beds, Phil Tufnell says: “It was great fun. We sprung into action. We work very well as a team.” While Janice Dickinson exclaims: “The lightning is cracking right over the head of us! I don’t want to sleep out there.” Georgia Toffolo adds: “It’s bad. It’s a big bad storm!”

A first-look clip shows Toff and Janice screaming, while the other campmates look on very shocked. Welsh TV presenter Carol Vorderman said: "Oh. My. God!" And new entry to camp Joe Swash seemed to be the only campmate excited by the storm.

He said: "This is good! I love it...it is a little bit exciting, you know? It's a nice change, it breaks up the day." Joe joined the camp late with fellow EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and when they first entered the camp they had to face the "most disgusting drinking trial ever".

Named Flipping Disgusting, the duo met with Ant and Dec to find out they will be drinking some gruesome concoctions in a bid to win some treats for the individual campmates. Speaking before going into camp Joe said that eating trials were his worst. He said: “I have done so many trials but they don’t get any easier. I find them hard and I especially hate the eating trials. I do think I am going to struggle. I am a bit of a gagger and screamer!”
