I'm a Celebrity fans sympathise as Jacqueline Jossa is subjected to 'hepeating'

I'm A Celebrity fans jumped to Jacqueline Jossa's defence after she appeared to be subjected to 'hepeating' in the jungle.

The former EastEnders actress was rattled when she repeatedly suggested making a stir-fry for dinner with emu rump and nobody responded.

Then former England rugby player James Haskell suggested the same thing seconds later as their campmates listened intently.

"Oh my God, are you actually serious?" Jacqueline asked her campmates "we’re doing the whole thing where you ignore me?"

"I heard you, I just meant about cutting it up and frying it before," James told her.

Hepeating, a phrase coined in 2017, is when a woman's suggestion is overlooked but then readily accepted when repeated by a man

And she told the Bush Telegraph on the ITV1 reality show : "There's no head chef in our camp. We all discuss what's going to happen.

The former EastEnders actress was not impressed (ITV)

"I feel like I put my two cents in before everybody else and then everybody else pretended it was their idea.

"I was like 'hello! I've literally just said that!'"

Viewers took to Twitter to sympathise with the mum-of-two.

"When someone repeats my joke and expects ME to laugh at it," said one.

"I would react the same way, I was annoyed a little bit as well," said another.

"Happens to me all the time," said a third.

"It was typical man talking over women again, then taking their idea as if it was theirs," said another annoyed viewer.
