I'm a Celebrity fans panicking that their favourite part of the show could be axed this year

I'm A Celebrity fans are enjoying all the action in the castle as the show gets underway in Wales.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic the ITV reality show has moved this year from the jungle in Australia to the historic Gwrych Castle in Abergele.

So far the 10 celebrities are getting along like a house on fire and throwing themselves into the gruesome challenges put to them by hosts Ant and Dec.

But just days in, viewers have made a startling realisation that they might miss out on their favourite challenge of the series.

It's an I'm a Celebrity tradition to end the series with the Celebrity Cyclone.

The aqua-slide challenge is always quite a spectacle as the celebs struggle to stand upright while being pelted with water canons.

They tackle the famously wet and windy obstacle course wearing superhero costumes.

And viewers are wondering if it can still go ahead in their new setting.

"HOLD UP, is there going to be Celebrity Cyclone this year???" shouted one on Twitter.

"How are they doing to do the Celebrity Cyclone this year," asked another.

Another described it as the 'British fave.'

"OMG - random thought: how the hell are they gonna do celebrity cyclone this year in #imacelebrity ? They best have some wetsuits and a Welsh hill at the ready!" suggested another.

"Can't wait for the celebrity cyclone at Rhyl's Sun Centre," joked another fan.

"Just thinking about celebrity cyclone this year- I'm thinking Pensarn beach??" another wondered.

"For this year’s Celebrity Cyclone, they should just get them down to Cardiff and complete the obstacle course that is Queen Street on a Saturday before Christmas in the rain," joked another viewer.

And another commented: "No need to fake the wind and rain for Celebrity Cyclone this year. Just wait for the inevitable storm to roll in and kick them all outside on a slip and slide down a mountain."

"Please tell me we’ll still have Celebrity Cyclone this year?!" demanded another worried viewer.

"Argh just thought, there will probably be no celebrity cyclone this year," said another.
