I’m a Celebrity fans were outraged after spotting new contestant Ruthie Henshall “cheating” during a live trial.
The West End actor took part in a challenge on Friday 20 November, in which she had to compete with Hollie Arnold against Shane Richie and Jordan North.
The two pairs of contestants were told to delve into troughs filled with gunge and offal to find as many gold coins as possible – but only using their mouths. They could then use their hands to place the coins in baskets before the time ran out.
However, during the challenge, fans claim they saw Henshall sticking her hands in the foul concoction, as well as her face.
“Anyone else think Ruthie was cheating in that first trial?” one asked, while another tweeted: “Ruthie is cheating using her hands.”

Henshall then appeared to try and trick Ant and Dec and her fellow contestants into thinking she’d collected three coins – the same as Richie and North.
As they were counting, on the “third” coin she quickly slammed her hand down in the box, but her hand appeared to be empty.
Dec then went to check the box and announced that they had two coins.
“That’s what you get for cheating,” Ant announced.
