I'm A Celebrity fans in stitches at Dec's hilarious Boris Johnson impression

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left in stitches last night after watching Declan Donnelly's Boris Johnson impression.

Ant and Dec were mimicking Victoria Derbyshire interviewing the Prime Minister, with Dec doing Johnson's famously waffly way of speaking.

The moment was branded "hilarious" by viewers, with one saying Dec's impression "made my day".

It all started when Victoria was practising her stand-up routine in front of the camp while being egged on by Shane Richie.

She had tried it in front of Sir Mo Farrah, but the punchline was completely lost on him so she told the joke to the rest of the camp.

The story of the joke went that the TV presenter had spoken to her doctor about feeling anxious about the show having supermarket sponsorship because she is a BBC journalist, the doctor asked her how long she had been feeling like that and Victoria said: "Ever since I was Lidl."

The rest of the camp burst out into laughter and Victoria was thrilled that they found her funny.

After that the camera cut back to Ant and Dec, with Ant saying: "Well done Victoria, she got a laugh in the end."

He continued: "I can't wait to see Victoria's next hard-hitting political interview: 'Prime Minister, the public has a right to know, what's green and wobbly and flies through the sky?'"

Putting on Johnson's famous voice, Dec replied: "'Ah eurgh eurgh, it's a jellycopter isn't it?'

"Evening Prime Minister... he's definitely watching! He's isolating isn't he? He's definitely watching."

One tweeted: "Must have rewound and watched Dec's Boris Johnson impression about 10 times. Hilarious."

"Dec @antanddec your Boris impression was spot on," another posted, alongside a laughing emoji.

A third wrote: "Dec’s impression of Boris Johnson has made my day."

"Dec's impression of Boris Johnson was outstanding," another said.
