I'm A Celebrity fans hail 2020 line-up 'best in years' as campmates confirmed

Excited viewers believe the best I'm A Celebrity line-up in a long time is coming to our screens.

The ITV show announced who will be taking part in the new look 2020 series on Sunday night's teaser show.

This year it is taking place at Gwrych Castle in North Wales, due to coronavirus restrictions ruling out the regular return to the Australian Jungle.

Stars including Vernon Kay, Sir Mo Farah and soap icon Shane Richie are all moving into the castle it has been confirmed.

So are Corrie's Beverley Callard, TV host and BBC news journalist Victoria Derbyshire and former Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard.

Fans already can't wait - but they have another week to go until it all kicks off.

One tweeted: What an amazing line up of campmates @imacelebrity Can it be next Sunday already!?!? So buzzed right now".

Another said: "SHUT UP! What a line up this year!"

A third fan predicted trouble, saying: "Love this line up but there will be clashes for sure this year well done @imacelebrity".

Ant and Dec are back and they think this year will be one to remember (ITV)

"Buzzing !! Best line up in years," wrote a viewer, as another posted: "What a good line up though!"

Another excited fan wrote: "I cannot wait for #ImACeleb the line up is pretty good this year!"

TV star Vernon told viewers to be prepared for some blubbing.

“One hundred per cent I will cry...my favourite movie is Forrest Gump. I have seen it at least 100 times and I cry every time I watch it.

Mo Farah says he will be the camp cook (ITV)

"But I am excited about doing I’m a Celebrity. The physical and mental challenges will be really interesting."

Olympic great Mo said: “It’s so out of my comfort zone but I just want to go in there and be myself. I am most looking forward to meeting different people, getting challenges thrown at you and working as a team.

"Hopefully I can do well but I don’t know if I am going to be booted out in the first week. You just have to be you...I am going to learn a few things about myself that is for sure."
