I’m A Celebrity fans concerned as Nick Knowles ‘calls for Medic Bob’

I’m A Celebrity fans were left concerned after Nick Knowles appeared to call for a medic as Anne Hegerty was evicted from the jungle.

The DIY SOS presenter left viewers baffled when he gestured for Medic Bob as The Chase star was saying her fond farewells on Wednesday night.

Knowles appeared to say: “I think this is fairly important, we need to see Bob as soon as possible, as soon as Anne’s crossed the bridge.”

And viewers were immediately concerned at the words, rushing to Twitter to try and find out what was going on.

One wrote: “Why was Nick asking for medic bob when Ann was leaving the camp? #ExtraCamp @imacelebrity.”

Another said: “What is important that nick needs to check with medic bob? #ImACeleb.”

A third asked: “Who is Nick heard telling to go and see Bob the Medic to as they are saying their goodbyes to Anne??? #ImACeleb.”

ITV declined to comment when contacted by Standard Online.

On Wednesday, Hegerty – affectionately known as The Governess on ITV – became the fifth celebrity to leave the jungle.

The star, who was ecstatic to be leaving, mocked Knowles as she gave her exit interview after he expressed his belief that the 1969 moon landing was fake.

Hegerty said: “I’m a sad person with no life. My life is sitting indoors reading at a computer and not experiencing things. I'm like the anti-Nick. He goes out but he still reads books.

“I may still need to convince him we did go to the moon - but he believes in evolution.”

I’m A Celebrity continues Thursday at 9pm on ITV.
