I'm A Celebrity fans claim trial is 'rigged' as campmates unfairly disqualified

I'm A Celebrity viewers took aim at the second Reckoning challenge on the show on Thursday night, calling it a "fix".

After a "curse" hit the jungle, stars had to compete against each other to cure themselves.

In the second task, Kate Garraway, Caitlyn Jenner, Andrew Maxwell and Andy Whyment had to climb into boxes with just their heads outside of it, as though they were on a table.

They faced four rounds of having to keep their chins on a button, with a light in front of them.

Kate and co were joined by all sorts of critters throughout each task.

If their chins came off their buttons, the light in front of them would turn red and they would be disqualified.

At the end, the two campmates who completed the most challenges without being disqualified would be cured.

But Kate, who was terrified of the rounds as spiders and cockroaches landed on her head, kept missing out.

Caitlyn also kept finding her light going red, despite her not being aware that her chin had moved.

The campmates kept questioning if they had moved at all, as the lights kept coming on.

Viewers at home were also confused, not even sure Kate or Caitlyn had misplaced their chins on the buttons.

Fans said Caitlyn Jenner's button appeared to be broken (ITV)

Taking to Twitter , some even went as far as to say the trial was "rigged" not happy with the outcome.

One fan said: "Swear @Caitlyn_Jenner button was rigged or broken? She looked like she wants moving at all."

Another tweeted: "rigged???? caitlyn didn’t even move!!"

A third commented: "Caitlyn’s button is fixed I tell you!!! She hasn’t moved!"

I'm A Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
