I'm A Celebrity 'central heating' claims answered by Gwrych Castle

Claims that I'm A Celebrity contestants have central heating in their camp have been debunked by Gwrych Castle.

Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, the ITV reality show - now in its 20th series - is being filmed at the ruined Gwrych Castle, which overlooks the coastal town of Abergele in North Wales, instead of the Australian 'jungle'.

The property has been temporarily transformed, with celebrities living and sleeping inside the ruined building.

But after watching the show over the past week, viewers claimed the castle must have central heating.

This was due to the campmates wearing t-shirts inside the camp.

Reported by the Independent, one viewer is said to have tweeted: “Do they have secret heating on in this castle? Everyone wearing T-shirts, it should be freezing.”

A second wrote: “I am convinced that this castle has central heating. They are walking around in short-sleeve T-shirt’s half the time.”

Another said: “I’m sure they have b***** heating in that castle as no one looks cold!”

And last night, AJ Pritchard was seen sleeping topless.

However, Gwrych Castle has responded to these claims.

They accompanied this with an aerial picture of the ruined castle.
