I'm A Celebrity back on the box in less than two weeks

Hit ITV show I'm A Celebrity. . . Get Me Out of Here! will launch its 2023 edition on Sunday November 6 after being brought forward in the schedules because of football's World Cup later in the month.

It means fans of the show, which returns to Australia for the first time since 2019, have less than two weeks to wait to see the latest batch of celebrities struggling in the jungle. The pandemic forced ITV to stage its biggest show in Gwrych Castle, Wales, last year and in 2020, but is returning to its traditional base.

The Mirror reports that Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will again host the series that sees celebrities take on a series of tough challenges to test their physical and mental strength and their willpower. Last year's I'm A Celebrity was won by Emmerdale actor Danny Miller and was broadcast from north Wales, with the weather in the UK causing havoc.

The Sun says that the show is returning slightly earlier than usual due to the Qatar World Cup. The football kicks off on November 21 – the date I'm A Celebrity premiered last year – and will run until December 18. An ITV spokesman said: "We'll announce the start date for the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in due course."

In the run-up to the show hitting TV screens, rumours have been swirling about who might be heading to the jungle. Chris Moyles is one of the famous faces set to head onto the show, The Mirror has revealed. Other names were also thrown into the mix including Mike Tindall, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver and Loose Women star Charlene White.
