I'm A Celebrity advert shows Ant and Dec arrive in Wales

Ant and Dec have arrived in Wales in a brand new I'm A Celebrity advert.

The reality television show premiered the hilarious trailer in the Welsh countryside before the final of Britain's Got Talent.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Ant and Dec and the celebrity line up will swap their usual location in New South Wales, Australia, for Gwrych Castle in north Wales instead.

However, it seems that neither Ant or Dec are yet aware of the show’s change of location.

“Ah it’s great to be back Down Under," said Ant in the clip, as he steps out of a black cab and into some fresh Welsh manure. “I would hate to see the kangaroo who left that."

“Wow that was quick,” replied Dec as he pulls off an eye mask. “I must have slept through the whole flight.”

During the clip Ant tries to pay the taxi driver to a reply of "Chi yng Nghymru, butt."

The pair later consult a map of Australia before the camera pans across to the stunning Welsh countryside.

While the series will be filmed in Abergele, the promo was filmed on location in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire.

As well as renovating the roof, ITV producers have reportedly had to install pipes for running water and to make sure there are electrics.

Before it had even been announced as the location, builders had to be called in for emergency works to fix structural concerns and “vertical cracking” in the old building.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here will start on ITV in November.
