I'm A Celebrity 2021: Giovanna Fletcher predicts Frankie Bridge will be crowned winner

I'm A Celebrity 2020 winner Giovanna Fletcher predicts Frankie Bridge will be crowned Queen of the Jungle this year.

Giovanna, 36, wants to pass over her win to the former Saturdays singer as she's been confirmed as part of this year's star-studded line-up.

Speaking on Heart Breakfast with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston, Giovanna admitted Frankie is "amazing" and would love to see her win the series.

Amanda asked her: "If you had to predict a winner right now..."

Giovanna instantly replied: "Frankie Bridge."

The radio hosts looked at each other and nodded in agreement, with Giovanna adding: "She's amazing."

"She's such a lovely girl," Amanda said.

"She's not gonna be able to hide the fear," Giovanna continued. "She's scared of everything. I know her quite well, she's scared of a lot of things.

"But she's also got this power that I don't even think she knows how strong she is.

"And she's so funny and she's lovely. I think people are gonna absolutely fall in love with her."

Amanda nodded and said: "She's worked really hard, so it'll be great for her to have that spotlight."

Frankie is currently the bookies' favourite to win this year's I'm A Celebrity.

She has a loyal fanbase of 1.3million followers as she is often very open about her life and struggles with mental health.

Previously speaking about her anxiety, Frankie said: "As I grew up in the public eye, I realised that I didn't have much control over my own life, and it got to a point where I felt like I was coming into work and I was being "Frankie from The Saturdays," rather than just Frankie."

She emotionally said: "'I always say that I was someone who was born anxious.

"I started feeling that I didn't want to be around anymore, I didn't want to live my life anymore. I wasn't able to cope with day-to-day normal life without crying.

"I found I wanted to spend all my time in bed and hide away. That was when I realised that maybe my depression and anxiety had taken over me rather than me having control over it."

The singer, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, had previously spoke about reaching a low point during the filming of The Saturdays' song, My Heart Takes Over, in 2011.

That year, she was admitted to a psychiatric after suffering from a mental breakdown.

Frankie first opened up about her struggles in an interview to Glamour Magazine, saying "it just seemed right at the time".

She decided to do the article to try to help others to open up and seek help where they needed to.

There is no doubt Frankie will become a firm favourite on the show and will win the hearts of viewers.
