I'm A Celebrity 2020: Love Island star Tommy Fury tipped to join jungle line-up

I'm A Celebrity 2020 fans are excited over the news that ITV will go ahead with the show this year, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Amid fresh fears that Covid-19 lockdown restrictions in the UK and Australia, where the show is filmed, could cause chaos, ITV are still planning to bring viewers the show with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

Now, Tommy Fury is the latest name linked to the show after finding fame on Love Island last year.

The brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury came runner-up on the ITV2 dating series with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.

They're still together now over a year on, being one of few Love Island couples to last outside the villa.

But the couple could be separated in the coming months, amid rumours Tommy is headed for the jungle.

New betting odds for I'm A Celebrity 2020 place him at the top of the list for potential camp mates this year.

According to Betway bookmakers, he stands at odds of 2/5 to join the show.

Betway’s Chad Yeomans told Mirror online: "Love Island’s Tommy Fury is odds-on at 2/5 to be battling his way through bushtucker trials on this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

“The professional boxer survived the villa for eight weeks, but the Australian wilderness is a far cry from glamourous pool parties, and Fury could be in for a shock if he’s made to chomp down on some witchetty grubs."

The bookmakers also tip EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, who is returning to her role as Stacey Fowler on the BBC soap, to join the show in the coming months.

Lacey Turner is also rumoured (ITV)

Lacey has expressed an interest in doing the ITV series a number of times in the past, so could this be her year?

They added: "EastEnders’ Lacey Turner could be following in Queen of the Jungle Jacqueline Jossa’s footsteps and is available to be backed at 2/7 to join this year’s line-up of brave celebs.

"This Morning’s Philip Schofield and TV bad-guy Simon Cowell are outsiders at 20/1 and 50/1 respectively.”

I'm A Celebrity 2020 is planned to air later this year on ITV.
