I'm A Celebrity 2020 line up: Gavin Henson and Vinnie Jones among favourites to take part

With rumours that I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! is set to take a place in an abandoned castle in Wales, bookmakers have slashed the odds on Gavin Henson and Vinnie Jones joining the line-up for the hit reality show.

The former Wales rugby player's odds have been cut from 28/1 to 4/1, while footballer Jones' have been cut from and 24/1 to 6/1, reports mybettingsites.co.uk.

A spokeswoman for the company says: "If the latest odds are anything to go by, ex-Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson is set to embark on yet another reality adventure with a stint on I’m A Celebrity, alongside ex-footballer and actor Vinnie Jones.

"Apparently Gavin has considered going on the show previously but for one reason or another it hasn’t worked out but with the show being filmed in Wales, it’s been said that the rugby player is keener than ever to join the line-up.”

Other celebrities rumoured to be part of the I’m a Celeb 2020 edition include:

  • Tamzin Outhwaite: Evens
  •
  • Ronnie O’Sullivan: 2/1
  •
  • Gavin Henson: 4/1
  •
  • Vinnie Jones: 6/1
  •
  • John Barnes: 8/1
  •

The 200-year-old Gwrych Castle in Abergele - which has a colourful history that includes being bequeathed to the Crown, hosting training camps for champion boxers, housing Jewish refugees during wartime, and being the subject of numerous ghost sightings - is the favourite location for this year’s series, it has been reported.

ITV last week announced plans to film the reality series - known for its gruesome Bushtucker Trials - in the UK rather than Australia because of the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
