I'm A Celebrity 2020 fans raging after latest show as viewers annoyed over 'big mistake'

I'm A Celebrity fans in Ireland and the UK were left bemused on Saturday when they realised the show was a recap of the week gone by.

The two countries are in lockdown with thousands of viewers hoping for some light entertainment to brighten their Saturday night.

However, the episode was a recap of the first six days in camp as Saturday's have traditionally never been normal episodes.

But that didn't go down too well with the public as they labelled it a "big mistake".

One bemused fan said: "I feel like ITV have made a big mistake putting a recap/ highlights show on prime time, especially on a Saturday night during a lockdown when everyone is inside, they should have done the usual live show and then a highlights show after on ITV 2 or something."

ANT AND DEC CALL KIOSK KEV FOR HELP IN NEW I'M A CELEBRITY ADVERT

Former Love Island star Amy Hart said: "It’s only 3 weeks and it’s not like anyone’s going out anywhere so do we really need a recap show?! Can’t we just have an actual show?!"

While another fan added: "All tucked up in blankets on the sofa, put the board games away, to find out it’s a recap episode."

But fans will be happy to know that the show is back as normal on Sunday night with Ant and Dec, all the campmates and a trial.

The show begins at 9pm on Virgin Media One for all Irish viewers.
