I'm a Celebrity 2020 bookies' favourite Ladbaby on rumours he is set to join ITV show cast

Nearly nine months after bookies first slashed the odds on LadBaby joining the I'm a Celebrity 2020 cast the Notts-born YouTube star is still favourite to take part in the ITV show.

If true the 33-year-old prankster and serial life-hacker wouldn't be flown out to Oz this autumn but instead join campmates in a haunted castle located in the English countryside.

Speaking to Nottinghamshire Live, Mark Hoyle, who lives with wife Rox and two sons Phoenix and Kobe in Hemel Hempstead, revealed the spooky new destination wouldn't bother him at all and he'd probably get a kick out of winding up jumpy fellow contestants.

But sadly there's no need to get too excited as the Celebrity Dad of the Year 2018 is adamant he has not been approached and indeed has never been approached to join the reality TV show.

He said: "I saw the bookies, the bookies have had me at number one for a long time and I keep thinking this means they are going to ring. But no, there's been no contact yet.

"I quite like the idea it's in a haunted castle. I think I'd rather be king of the castle than king of the jungle. If they ring me and they are interested of course I would consider it but I've gotta wait for them, the ball's in their court."

The former graphic designer who met wife Rox 10 years ago in a London nightclub before marrying in Vegas claims there isn't much which makes him squeamish and he would probably give anything a try once.

He said: "Should I say how I am with [creepy crawlies and all that] because if I do go in and I've said I hate snakes they are just going to put me in a box with a load of them.

"I'm not really too fussed about eating stuff, I think I could eat anything. Especially if I was starving, I could happily eat a camel's backside. I saw one the year or the year before and they had to hold 20 live cockroaches in their mouth and then hold like a Huntsman Spider live. Just all crunched up in their mouth.

"I'm not afraid of ghosts either, I don't believe in them, so a haunted castle would be alright for me. Everyone else there would be panicked about a ghost and I'd be like it's not real and have a great night's sleep."
